About Me
Hi! I'm Ryan, I'm a software engineer at Sidewalk Labs, where I build tech to solve problems in cities!
Before becoming a I received my doctorate in physics from the University of Toronto with Dr. Sabine Stanley (now at Johns Hopkins). I used large scale, fluid dynamics simulations to learn how planets generate magnetic fields. I specifically focussed on the anomalously weak magnetic field of Mercury, and on magnetic fields in large, rocky planets around other stars.
